Uiteindelijk is het juiste onderdeel op de camping afgeleverd...

Finally the right part was delivered at the camp site...

quindi andavamo all'autofficina per il montaggio. Solo che il furgone non aveva voglia.

so it was off to the garage for the assembly. Only the bus didn't want to.

 

  

 

Ondertussen nieuwe vrienden gemaakt en Olbia bekeken

Intanto abbiamo fatto degli amici e abbiamo visto Olbia

In the meantime we made some new friends and looked around in Olbia

 

Aan het eind van de dag was Dakkie gemaakt en konden we weer verder. Naar de dichtstbijzijnde camping gereden: La Tavolara. De camping zelf was niet bijzonder, maar het uitzicht vanaf het strand bij ondergaande zon wel.

Alla fine della giornata Dakkie era sistemato e potevamo continuare il nostro viaggio. Siamo andati direttamente al campeggio più vicino: La Tavolara. Il campeggio non era molto speciale, ma il tramonto visto dalla spiaggia invece sì.

By the end of the day Dakkie was fixed so we could continue our journey. We went straight to the closest camp site: La Tavolara. The camping itself was not very special, but the sunset at the beach was quite nice.

De volgende ochtend vertrokken we vrolijk richting Alghero, maar helaas...na ongeveer 100 km begon de bus enorm olie te lekken, met dikke witte rookwolken tot gevolg - we waren even bang dat de bus in brand stond.

Il giorno dopo siamo partiti allegramente per Alghero, ma ahimè ... dopo circa 100 km stavamo perdendo un sacco di olio, causando spesse nuvole bianche di fumo - avevamo paura che il furgone avesse preso fuoco.

The next day we happily left for Alghero, but alas ... after about 100km the bus started leaking oil abbundantly, causing big white clouds of smoke - we even thought the bus was on fire.

Dus maar weer naar een garage - die heel toevallig vlakbij was

Allora, dovevamo andare in autofficina di nuovo - per fortuna c'era una molto vicina

So, back to a garage it was - luckily there was one very close

Na een oponthoud van 2 dagen eindelijk in Alghero aangekomen. Ons favoriete plekje was nog vrij. Daarna gauw boodschapjes doen...

Dopo un ritardo di 2 giorni siamo finalmente arrivati ad Alghero. Il nostro posto preferito era ancora libero. Subito dopo abbiamo fatto le spese....

After 2 days delay we finally arrived in Alghero. Our favourite spot was still available. Soon after we went for some shopping...

 

en een beetje rondfietsen in de omgeving. Zoals Fertilia, een door Mussolini gesticht dorpje.

e una gita in bici nei dintorni. Per esempio a Fertilia, un paese fondato da Mussolini.

and some cycling in the neighbourhood. For instance Fertilia, a town created by Mussolini.

De volgende 'halte' was Is Arutas. Met biggetjes en een strand van kwartszand.

Poi ci siamo fermati a Is Arutas. Con porcheddu e una spiaggia con sabbia di quarzo.

Next stop was Is Arutas. With piglets and quartz sanded beaches.
